Friday Favorites // First Edition

I am so thrilled it’s Friday! TGIF!

Have I ever mentioned that I am the biggest Full House fan on the planet? Well, I am, and I can never say “TGIF” without thinking of one of these classic intros.

Come on America, hug your TV set!

Anyway, I’m so thrilled it’s Friday that I want to share the happiness by sharing some fun stuff that’s made me happy lately… aka, Friday Favorites!

Sheep Fat Quarters!

I recently won a giveaway from Sassafras Lane Designs, sponsored by Andover Fabrics. I am so thrilled to share this news. First, because I never win anything. And second, because the prize was a Jolly Farm fat quarter bundle – which included TWO sheep themed fat quarters. And you all know how much I love sheep! The other fat quarters in the bundle are equally adorable – little farm animals, trees, leaves and tractors. I love it. Now what will I make!?

The prize also included a Diamond Detour Quilt Pattern… I guess it’s time to learn how to quilt! Well, other than rag quilts, that is. 😉

Mousey Cross Stitch!

Some time ago, I mentioned that I was working on a new cross stitch project and shared a sneak peek. Well, I’ve officially finished, mounted and framed the Cinderella’s Mice pattern from Clouds Factory! I’m not quite as productive as Krafty Katie when it comes to cross stitch, but I am proud to say this one is finished and now on display on my desk at work.

Bias Tape Makin’

Now that I’ve accepted bias tape with open arms, I’ve finally purchased one of those simple little bias tape makers. Until now, I’d always folded bias tape by hand. That little gadget makes the process much faster. Bias tape is a great way to use up leftover fabric from other projects. I’m addicted and I’ve grown quite the stockpile…

Alright, that’s all I have up my sleeve for today. Someday I’ll have to elaborate on the Full House fanaticism a little more. But for now… TGIF!
